The 5th

Let's see. At 5 months old Lucas was obsessed with his hands and feet. He would fall asleep staring at his hands while closing and opening them the same way a free-spirited hippie would after taking some LSD. It was pretty cute.

I would say the highlight of his 5th month was meeting is great-gradparents Burke and Vernita.

He saw snow for the first time in Utah

He finally met the Reinharts (this is the only picture I got, pathetic)

He also saw rain for the first time. I love the way he takes it all in.

Onto other non-Lucas related happenings during this month. Ben got rid of his beloved Jeep in order to make room for a more baby friendly car. It was an emotional moment. We bought this car 3 years ago on craigslist for $1000 and the great state of California gave us $1000 to retire it. Best return on investment as of yet, no wonder the state is having budget problems.

We have officially sold out. Here's a picture of the new car (new to us) in the church parking lot, apparently we fit in. But deep down inside we are not SUV driving folks, I promise.
