Palm Springs

Despite being busy we were able to sneak away for a weekend to celebrate our 4th wedding anniversary. It's our tradition, no matter how small the trip. 1st year it was Santa Barbara, 2nd year was Napa 3rd year was San Diego (we had gone to Europe earlier in the year so we had to keep it cheap, plus David Sedaris was having a reading so it worked out) and for our 4th we went to Palm Springs. We stayed at a place called Hope Springs, they have heated mineral pools and a mid century vibe. It was very peaceful, exactly what we wanted. We went on a self guided architectural tour, did some thrift store shopping, ate lot's of yummy food, slept in, it was perfect.
