Sorry, it's been so long. I blame it on the election. I thought that once November 2nd came I would have a life again, and I was going to get back to blogging. But I forgot about all the post-election debriefings and meetings. Election time for public affairs peeps is (probably) the the equivalent of tax season for accountants. It's been a while since I've worked on a campaign so I was a little rusty and totally underestimated the craziness that comes with it. So if I've canceled dinner plans with you, if I missed your birthday, if I missed your baby shower or if I haven't returned your phone call consider this a sincere apology. I suck. I even missed blogging about our anniversary last month. Heck, I even missed buying Ben a gift. At least you didn't have to read a cheesy post on how wonderful and amazing Ben is. Okay, maybe you will....
I'll try to keep it as un-cheesy as possible.
4 years later and I love him and respect him more than ever. I'm constantly in awe. Life is so good. I really lucked out.
